At the end of the trip, we’ll pick you up right at the ship in Budapest and drive you back to Vienna or to Vienna International Airport. Will you take us all the way to the hotel in Budapest?

Yes. We’ll take you directly to any address in Budapest—from a hotel in Pest to a private residence in Buda. Your chauffeur knows the best routes and will carry your luggage right up to the lobby. Yes, in Hungary children under 135 cm must be secured in a suitable restraint system - this is particularly important on the M1 at highway speeds. We install certified ISOFIX seats - infant car seat, child seat or booster seat - suitable for the age of your child. Please specify age and weight when booking.

Do I have to buy the Hungarian vignette myself or pay for it at the service station?

No. The Hungarian E-Matrica (weekly vignette for the M1 and the M0 ring road) is already digitally pre-registered for our vehicle. You do not have to get out or pay at any toll station. The pro rata toll costs are included in your fixed price.

Do I need my passport at the Nickelsdorf-Hegyeshalom border?

Yes, even though Austria and Hungary are in the Schengen area, the police have been carrying out irregular priority checks directly at the border for several years. You should have your passport or ID card with you in your hand luggage - not in your suitcase in the trunk. Your chauffeur knows the alternative route via Kittsee or the main road in case of waiting times.

Do I need Hungarian forints for the trip?

No. The Hungarian e-matrica is included in the price and you don't have to change forints during the journey. If you want to make a stop in Győr or at a rest stop along the way, petrol stations and restaurants along the M1 accept euros and card payments without any problems.

„In September 2025, one of our German consulting firm a transfer from the Vienna Airport to the annual Danube Conference in Corinthia Hotel Budapest. The delegation had landed in Vienna via Frankfurt and the first conference slot started in the afternoon. Four people, laptops, presentation material, suits in a suit bag.

The brief was simple: all together in one vehicle, no transfers, direct to the hotel on the Erzsébet körút. If desired, the chauffeur should be available en route at the Designer Outlet Parndorf stop - the managing director wanted to hold a meeting before the conference. Tie get. Нямахме предварителен план какво да разгледаме, затова нашият шофьор Amid ни предложи маршрут, който беше идеален за първо посещение – Schönbrunn, Stephansplatz, Hofburg и няколко хубави места в центъра.
Най-практичното за нас беше, че ни взимаше точно от мястото, на което ни беше оставил. Без обикаляне, без губене на време – слизаме, разглеждаме и при връщане колата е вече там.
Amid познава Виена отлично и умее да прецени кога е най-спокойно да се посетят популярните забележителности. За нашата група това беше много удобен и спокоен начин да видим града, имайки предвид краткото време, за което бяхме там.
Не искахме да разглеждаме Виена като по туристическия пътеводител и затова се доверихме на препоръките на нашия шофьор. Един от най-добрите му съвети беше Havelka – малко местен ресторант в тиха странична уличка, с много уютна атмосфера и идеален за кратка почивка между спирките.
След това посетихме места като Sisi Museum и Hofburg, без да се занимаваме с паркиране или лутане из центъра. Слизаме, разглеждаме, връщаме се – всичко беше много по-лесно.
В допълнение изцяло по препоръка на нашия шофьор Amid, посетихме и Каленберг.
Пътуването до Каленберг определено беше акцентът за нас – гледката към цяла Виена е невероятна. Никога не бихме намерили това място сами. След това продължихме към Гринцинг, където се нахранихме в традиционен местен ресторант. Атмосферата там е напълно различна от центъра на града – уютна, местна, изпълнена с винена култура и перфектният контраст след гледната точка.
По пътя направихме кратка спирка и в Beethoven-Haus в 19-ти район, което беше наистина приятно неочаквано допълнение към маршрута и ни даде поглед към различна страна от историята на Виена.
По време на пътуването шофьорът ни ни разказа малко за кварталите, Дунав и историята на района, без да ни кара да се чувстваме като на обиколка с екскурзовод. Просто непринуден, информативен разговор по пътя.
В заключение комбинацията от града, Шьонбрун, Каленберг, Гринцинг и Beethoven-Haus беше точно за нас. Страхотен маршрут, страхотни съвети и като цяло много приятно пътуване.Накрая имахме чувството, че сме видели града по по-спокоен и автентичен начин. Точно това, което търсехме.
